If you will be picking up meals today as part of the curbside summer feeding program, please be aware the delivery trucks are running late and pickups will be delayed until approximately 8 a.m. This affects all sites, with the exception of Parkway, which will open at the normal time. Our staff enjoyed breakfast and drinks sponsored by Lydia Moak, Whitney Harris, Sara George, Lateisha Cann, and Kendra Woods. ☕🍓
Teachers also had the chance to shop the Simply Chic Van and were treated to a delicious lunch sponsored and served by Enercorp. Thank you for taking the time to love on our staff and make the day so special! 🩵
And a huge thank you to Copeland’s for the yummy cheesecake that was the perfect sweet treat to end the day! 🍰

As we continue to create fun, engaging, and hands-on experiences for our students, our PE and Music classes are hoping to add a simple but exciting tool to our activities - pool noodles! These are incredibly versatile and will be used in a variety of ways.
In PE, students will use them for interactive games that build coordination, teamwork, and movement skills.
In Music, they will double as drumsticks, giving students a creative and energetic way to explore rhythm and beat.
We are hoping to gather around 100 pool noodles to support these activities. If you are able, we would greatly appreciate donations of one or two pool noodles. Every contribution, big or small, will help us reach our goal and provide these fun learning opportunities for all students.
If you would like to donate, please send pool noodles with your child or drop them off at the front office at your convenience.

Keeping kids fed over the summer costs a pretty penny, but Bossier Schools is coming to the rescue with FREE, nutritious meal boxes – and there are no income restrictions!
Starting Tuesday, May 26, any child age 18 and under is eligible for nutritious meal boxes at four drive-through pickup sites: Benton Middle, W.T. Lewis Elementary, Haughton Middle and Parkway High.
Each box includes 7 shelf stable breakfasts & lunches (no refrigeration or heating needed)
This USDA Summer Food Service Program is completely FREE
Curbside pickups are from 7-11 a.m. every Tuesday, May 26-June 23 and July 7-July 28.
