What an incredible year for Stockwell Place Elementary! Today, we celebrate the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our students, teachers, staff, and families. These results reflect years of intentional work, high expectations, and a shared belief that every child can achieve at high levels.
LEAP Results:
🏆 72% Overall Proficiency
•Tied for #1 in Louisiana among traditional public elementary schools.
• #1 in Bossier Parish
Our students also made outstanding gains in the percentage scoring Mastery or Above:
• +8% Overall
• +9% Math
• +10% Science
• +12% Social Studies
K-3 Literacy Results:
📚 89.3% of our K-3 students finished the year on benchmark.
• Top 5 in Louisiana among traditional public elementary schools.
• #1 in Bossier Parish
These accomplishments are the result of exceptional teaching, students who rise to high expectations, and families who support learning every step of the way. We are incredibly proud of what our school community has accomplished together.

Due to the severity of the weather and employee safety, today's summer meal box distribution is being pushed back an hour. Meals will be available for pickup at all four sites from 8 a.m. to noon. We appreciate your understanding.

If you will be picking up meals today as part of the curbside summer feeding program, please be aware the delivery trucks are running late and pickups will be delayed until approximately 8 a.m. This affects all sites, with the exception of Parkway, which will open at the normal time. Teachers also had the chance to shop the Simply Chic Van and were treated to a delicious lunch sponsored and served by Enercorp. Thank you for taking the time to love on our staff and make the day so special! 🩵

As we continue to create fun, engaging, and hands-on experiences for our students, our PE and Music classes are hoping to add a simple but exciting tool to our activities - pool noodles! These are incredibly versatile and will be used in a variety of ways.
In PE, students will use them for interactive games that build coordination, teamwork, and movement skills.
In Music, they will double as drumsticks, giving students a creative and energetic way to explore rhythm and beat.
We are hoping to gather around 100 pool noodles to support these activities. If you are able, we would greatly appreciate donations of one or two pool noodles. Every contribution, big or small, will help us reach our goal and provide these fun learning opportunities for all students.
If you would like to donate, please send pool noodles with your child or drop them off at the front office at your convenience.
