As we continue to create fun, engaging, and hands-on experiences for our students, our PE and Music classes are hoping to add a simple but exciting tool to our activities - pool noodles! These are incredibly versatile and will be used in a variety of ways.
In PE, students will use them for interactive games that build coordination, teamwork, and movement skills.
In Music, they will double as drumsticks, giving students a creative and energetic way to explore rhythm and beat.
We are hoping to gather around 100 pool noodles to support these activities. If you are able, we would greatly appreciate donations of one or two pool noodles. Every contribution, big or small, will help us reach our goal and provide these fun learning opportunities for all students.
If you would like to donate, please send pool noodles with your child or drop them off at the front office at your convenience.

Keeping kids fed over the summer costs a pretty penny, but Bossier Schools is coming to the rescue with FREE, nutritious meal boxes – and there are no income restrictions!
Starting Tuesday, May 26, any child age 18 and under is eligible for nutritious meal boxes at four drive-through pickup sites: Benton Middle, W.T. Lewis Elementary, Haughton Middle and Parkway High.
Each box includes 7 shelf stable breakfasts & lunches (no refrigeration or heating needed)
This USDA Summer Food Service Program is completely FREE
Curbside pickups are from 7-11 a.m. every Tuesday, May 26-June 23 and July 7-July 28.

We have completed half of our LEAP testing and our students have done a fabulous job keeping a positive attitude, staying focusing and doing their best work. We still have a few days next week to test. Please see attached to know which days your child will be testing. It is important to be at school on time each day so they can begin with their class in their normal testing environment.
