📅 September is School Attendance Month! 📅 Being present and on time is crucial for success, and we’re excited to reward our students who make it happen. Every week in September, we'll have special rewards for those with perfect attendance. This Friday, students with perfect attendance and no check-outs will get to wear a hat to school! 🧢 But there’s more! At the end of the month, students who achieve perfect attendance will earn a popsicle 🍧, an extra recess 🛝, and a special brag tag to add to their collection! 🏅 Let’s make every day count! #AttendanceMatters #TROTToSuccess

Bossier Schools has revised its cell phone policy in response to a new state law that restricts students from using cell phones and other electronic devices during the instructional day. Please note the following revisions: Cell phones must be turned off and stowed during instructional time, including from the time students get on/off the bus or in/out of a personal vehicle while on campus; Electronic communication devices, including but not limited to personal computers, laptops, electronic instruments, iPads, iPods, tablet devices, e-readers or similar devices, must be powered off and properly stowed for the duration of the school day. Each violation will result in the collection of the cell phone/electronic device. More information regarding disciplinary action can be found in school handbooks. *Please note the revised policy does not apply to students who have an Individualized Education Program (IEP)/Individualized Accommodation Plan (IAP), Section 504 plan or Individualized Health Plan that requires use of an electronic telecommunication device.
